Marathwada Farmer’s Son Defies Odds to Become Deputy Collector

The entire Sultanpur Warud Kaji village, which is located near Shendra industrial estate, celebrated the success of Ashok Dandge, son of a farmer, in the MPSC examination.

Ashok, who stood first in the entire state from open category, was appointed as Deputy Collector.

The villagers had a grand celebration for Ashok’s success. They arranged a procession with traditional musical instruments. For them, Ashok, son of Rambhau Dandge, has carved the name of their village in gold letters. Farming is the main business of this villages, but due to irregular rainfall, drought and other natural calamities, farming is in danger in this area.

In such a situation, when getting food for twice in a day had become difficult, Rambhau took hard efforts for the studies of Ashok. His efforts paid off when Ashok got the first rank in the MPSC exam.
