Manish Sisodia Slams BJP for Playing ‘Politics Over Garbage’

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi said in a press conference that the Delhi government has already released the funds for payment of salaries to the MCD employees.

“The government has already given funds for MCD workers’ salaries for 12 months. Municipal Corporation should tell why it hasn’t reached the employees. Instead of answering where the funds have gone, they (BJP & MCD) are doing politics of waste and are dumping waste outside my residence,” Sisodia told reporters in a press conference.

Workers attached to East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) had gone on strike making similar demands in October last year. But the strike was called off in the wake of a High Court order.
