Defending champions and hosts India beat Pakistan by 9 wickets to retain their T20 Blind World Cup title on Sunday in Bangalore. Batting first, Pakistan made 197/9 but India chased down the target in 18 overs, losing just one wicket in the process.

India remain the only team to have ever won the T20 World event, having beaten Pakistan in the final of the previous edition as well. Overjoyed at the feat, Indian captain Ajay Kumar Reddy said that the team had worked relentlessly for this win alone. Though disappointed by the defeat, Pakistan too was happy with the support they received from the Indian crowd.
