Is your low rating on cab service apps bothering you? Are your cabbies cancelling on you because of your low ratings? Just like we rate the drivers for every cab ride we take, the cabbies do the same. In their case, they rate us, the passengers.
In this episode of ‘Cab Mein Charcha,’ cabbies give us the hack to always get 5-star rating from them.
First things first, never call a cabbie where it’s almost impossible to drive a car. There’s not only the potential risk of scratches and dents to the car, it will also save you and the cabbie a lot of time. Walk a little, it’s also good for your health too.
You can’t get away with talking rudely to someone and still get a 5-star rating. These cabbies are trained to behave nicely with customers, but as customers it’s also imperative on our part to behave politely. Respect is always a two-way street, you get what you give.
Pooling means you are sharing a cab with other riders. You pay much lesser than booking a single cab for yourself, so you cannot expect exclusive service either.
One must have the patience to wait for pickups and drops in between your trip. That’s why it is cheap.
When you book a cab, it asks you for the payment mode. Don’t ignore it. Select the right option – cash, credit card, payment wallet. It helps no one if at the end of the cash ride you realise you have no money to pay for the ride. Avoid the arguments and heartburn, just fill up your wallet.
With GPS around, you have to be incredibly stupid to get confused about your location. It helps us pinpoint our exact location, more so if you have your smartphone. So, please make it a habit to check your location when you book a cab. And once you lock a location, be patient to wait for the cab at the marked location.
