Hema Malini Shocked & Saddened by the Death of Mathura Policemen
Hema Malini visited Mathura on Friday, a day after violence erupted in Jawahar Bagh area.

A Member of Parliament from Mathura, veteran actress Hema Malini, has expressed shock and anguish over the violence in Mathura’s Jawahar Bagh.
It is very sad and I was very, very shocked that policemen and people lost their lives. For the last two years I had heard that they had occupied land.
Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has blamed the incident on Uttar Pradesh government citing that law and order is a matter that comes under the state government.
She said that she had talked to the District Magistrate of Mathura in the past about it and he had replied that he is aware of the situation but is unable to take action due to lack of force.
