Hardik Patel’s Supporters and Police Clash in Ahmedabad Rally

Violent clashes broke out between Hardik Patel supporters and police officials in Ahmedabad.

The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti, led by Hardik Patel, took to the streets on Tuesday to demand their share in the Other Backward Classes reservation in Ahmedabad.

A violent clash broke out between the protesters and police officials, after which the protesters smashed bus windows and pelted stones.

Earlier in the day, Hardik Patel had addressed a rally which was attended by about nine lakh people. The Patidars have been asking for reservations within the 27% OBC quota.
