The French 35th Infantry Regiment, led by Lieutenant Colonel Paul Bury, marched on Rajpath on the 67th Republic Day parade. The regiment consists of 75 soldiers.

Raised in 1604, the contingent took part in various campaigns and won many laurels for itself.
