An ingenious son of a farmer in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh has built a tractor to aid his father, completely from scrap materials.
Virendra, a class 12 student, used the engine from a junk autorickshaw and tyres from a mini matador.
Virendra’s father would face difficulties while ploughing his fields manually. That’s when the idea to build a tractor struck him.
