In an exclusive interview with The Quint’s Editorial Director Sanjay Pugalia, Yadav said he is confident that Opposition parties will unite against the “communal ruling party, although they might take a little time.”
Talking about the SP-BSP alliance for the 2019 elections, Yadav said that the people’s verdict is clear.
Comparing the BJP to an organised gang, Yadav said that there is a great difference between the Congress and the BJP.
Yadav said that while the BJP is only around 70 years old, castes have been here for a thousand years. He said is confident of caste politics playing a crucial role in undermining the BJP’s religion-based politics in the upcoming General Election.
Yadav said that before the election, the unity of the opposition will be on track and the Modi government will be discharged in the 2019 elections.
