These chimpanzees are refugees who were abused, persecuted and orphaned in their range states.

They have found a new home in Sweetwaters sanctuary in Kenya, which provides refugee to orphaned chimpanzees.

Chimpanzees are on the list of endangered species due to the loss of their natural habitat and high demand for bush meat.

Dr Stephen Ngulu, a veterinarian, believes humans need to stop demanding wildlife products and bush meat, which lead to the destruction of the natural environment of the chimpanzees.
