Don’t Blame Your Wife or Delhi Police, Bassi Tells Somnath Bharti

Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi asks Bharti to stop blaming his wife or Delhi Police and introspect instead.

In response to Former Delhi Law Minister and AAP MLA Somnath Bharti’s assertion that there is a difference between his wife’s accusations and the sections under which the Delhi Police has charged him, Commissioner BS Bassi said the police has simply followed legal procedures.

Somnath Bharti faces arrest in a case of domestic abuse slapped by his estranged wife Lipika Mitra. A Delhi court on Tuesday had stayed his arrest till Thursday, September 17.
