Russian teenagers are risking their lives in a deadly craze — surfing fast moving inter city trains.

It has become a common sight in the capital to see the youngsters - usually sporting distinctive ski goggles and masks — clinging to the back of Moscow underground trains to hitch a free ride.

Some thrill seekers even mount the roofs and stand between carriages of Moscow-St Petersburg trains, that move at a speed of 155mph.
