A man travelling on top of a local train in Mumbai was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with the overhead 25 kV wire. The incident caused a loud blast. Assuming it to be a bomb explosion, passengers jumped out of the train onto an adjacent railway track.
When the panicked commuters jumped onto the track, there was no train passing by. This stroke of luck saved the lives of several people.
