Hi, Mr Trudeau. I am a big fan. But, you see, I have mixed feelings about your trip to India.

Don't get me wrong, I love everything about you, including your famous socks.

What’s more, we have so much in common; for instance, you love Indian clothes. And even I love Indian clothes. Although not as much.

You love getting clicked. And I am from the selfie generation.

And... that you love Bhangra. Well, so do I. Punjabis FTW!

But don't you think doing bhangra at a dinner where the guest list caused a controversy was a little – for lack of a more diplomatic word – strange?

By the way, tell me something; Were you here for work?

'Cause there was just like half a day of official engagements for you in Delhi. Some business was done, though. I’ve heard Indian and Canadian companies inked $1 billion worth of deals during this visit. No offence, but in our country, even scams are worth 1.8 billion Amreekan dollars!

Anyway, all this work talk will happen later. Let's talk about sherwanis now. Did I tell you that you looked better than SRK in K3G, and Virat in his wedding ad. BTW, I was just curious: Is Bollywood part of your retirement plan?

Who’s more Bollywood: Trudeau or SRK? (Photo: Twitter/JustinTrudeau)

My mom looked at your picture and she was like, “Justin is such a sona munda.” I didn’t even tell her about the whole Khalistan issue. She would have been heartbroken. But now that you have made your stand clear, let bygones be bygones.

Anyway, we made up for all the awkwardness of these past few days by finally gifting you our world-famous hug.

So, what if it came on Day 6 of your trip, at least the picture went viral!

Listen, why don’t you send me an invite for your next dinner party? Anyway, after removing Atwal from your guestlist, one slot would have become empty.

(The Quint, in association with BitGiving, has launched a crowdfunding campaign for an 8-month-old who was raped in Delhi on 28 January 2018. The baby girl, who we will refer to as 'Chhutki', was allegedly raped by her 28-year-old cousin when her parents were away. She has been discharged from AIIMS hospital after undergoing three surgeries, but needs more medical treatment in order to heal completely. Her parents hail from a low-income group and have stopped going to work so that they can take care of the baby. You can help cover Chhutki's medical expenses and secure her future. Every little bit counts. Click here to donate.)
