Aamir Khan has never shied away from revealing his struggles when it comes to dance sequences in films. In a group interview to promoteThugs of Hindostan, when he was asked about matching steps with Katrina Kaif in the song Suraiyya he joked, “Dancing is like a breeze for me.” On a serious note, he says that he got lucky that he didn’t have to dance with Katrina in the Suraiyya song. He just had fun doing some “jumping and twisting around” unlike Katrina who had very difficult dance steps.
“When I saw the rehearsals, I was like Katrina is gone. She won’t be able to do it because Prabhudheva had choreographed that song. Very tough dance steps.”
Thugs of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Sheikh and will hit theatres on 8 November. This is Aamir’s second Diwali release after Raja Hindustani in 1996.
