Three thousand miles away from India in the city of Istanbul in Turkey, a dance troupe swears by Bollywood. They love to dance to the tunes of “Chikni chameli…” or “Jadu ki Jappi…”; songs they barely understand!
In their name, in their hearts, they are wedded to India. The Quint’s Parul Agrawal meets Irmak Eynic and Sabriye Kavuncu in Istanbul who started Durga Bollywood Dance Company in Turkey to celebrate their love for Bollywood.
