‘Listicle’, ‘on fleek’ and ‘post-truth’ are some of the words that have made their way into the 42nd annual list of banned words of Lake Superior State University in Michigan, USA.

The banned words were chosen based on their “misuse, overuse and general uselessness... (they were chosen) basically for being annoying”.
