OnePlus has got some good news, folks. Their upcoming smartphone will no longer go through the tedious process of buying via the invite. This has been confirmed by the company, as most of you will be pleased to hear. This decision could help OnePlus 3 become one of the top sellers this year.
Invites have been a big hindrance to the popularity of the brand, which made a rousing debut in the Indian market with the OnePlus One in 2014. However, their second product, the OnePlus 2, did not live up to their expectations in the country.
The fact that OnePlus 3 will be sold sans invite gives the company the much-needed impetus to push their product. This comes on the back of Xiaomi’s recent decision to sell its latest Mi 5 in the country via open sales.
The smartphone market in India is as intense as ever with more brands making their forays into the country every now and then.
OnePlus is in a much better position this year with its overall product strategy and this seems to have enabled the company to make higher numbers of OnePlus 3 units.
OnePlus is all set to announce the OnePlus 3 later this month and it will be interesting to see if their first meta body smartphone gets the right price to attract buyers in the country.
