Xiaomi is back in the game! The Chinese tech giant has launched its latest flagship, the Mi 6, in its homeland. The specs sheet of the Mi 6 tells us that the company has come out all guns blazing and is challenging bigger flagships in a spec war.

The company said that the feature set of the Mi 6 make it a true flagship killer. The highlight of the device is the dual-camera setup and the 3D glass design.

The Mi 6 has been launched in three variants – with 64GB and 128GB internal storage and also a ceramic variant that comes with 18K gold-plated camera rims at the back and is black in colour.

The 64GB variant has been launched at at CNY 2,499 which is roughly Rs 23,500 and the 128GB variant has been priced at CNY 2,899 which is Rs 27,000 approximately. Xiaomi also announced a Silver Edition of the Mi 6 which is said to sport four-sided 3D curves and an ultra-reflective mirror finish.

Camera is a big player on this phone. The Xiaomi Mi 6 rear camera, and has a dual 12 megapixel sensor, which is a feature you see on many phones these days. It also features phase-detection autofocus, and four-axis anti-shake functionality to ensure blur-free images.

Battery back-up, which stands at 3,350mAh, looks enough. Although, to make it more efficient, the phone’s MIUI can now restrict applications from starting up and it freezes background applications, and also comes with a battery saving mode.

There is no news on when the phone will hit Indian shores, although knowing Xiaomi’s love for India, we can expect the device to come here in another couple of months.
