Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is selling its flagship phone the Vivo Nex – which originally costs costing Rs 44,990 – at just Rs 1,947 through an online flash sale.
This offer will be from 7 to 9 August (starting on 6 August midnight) and will only be available on the company’s online portal. Additionally, the Vivo V9 too will be up for grabs in this offer.
Vivo is also selling accessories such as earphones, and USB charging cables at just Rs 72 with additional cashback offers.
The Vivo Nex comes with a 6.59-inch full HD+ bezel-less display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and powerful internal hardware including a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB on-board storage.
The phone also comes with an 8-megapixel front camera and is running on Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is being powered by a 4,000mAh battery with type-C charging.
The Vivo Nex was launched only a couple of weeks ago and is a direct competitor to the Oppo Find X. The only reason the Find X didn’t garner much attention is because of its exorbitant price tag of Rs 59,990.
Also, another smartphone in this price segment is the BlackBerry Key2 which has been launched in India recently at Rs 42,990. This BlackBerry’s flagship phone offers high-end smartphone security with moderate specs on paper. It also comes with a physical QWERTY keypad.
