If the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are Samsung’s way of saying "sorry" for the Note 7 fiasco, to Samsung we say "apology accepted".

Samsung has really outdone itself this time with its new portfolio, the S8 and S8+. The S8 and S8+ have been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively. While we think this is the right price for the devices, there are a number of factors that make the new Galaxy phones stand out.

2. A Very Happy Birthday to Aryabhata, India’s First Satellite

The first Indian satellite in space, Aryabhata, was launched on 19 April 1975. The satellite was launched with a Russian rocket and spent 17 years in space.

When Bitcoin made it to Indian shores, everybody was asking the same question, 'Yeh Bitcoin kya cheez hai bhai?’.

In simple language, Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not being regulated by any government body. It can be sent to anyone anywhere in the world over the internet, and it does not cost much to make the transaction.

With a Bitcoin, you can buy anything and there are several currency exchanges that convert Bitcoin into dollars, euros and other currencies. The Bitcoin network is secured by individuals called miners who are awarded newly generated Bitcoins for verifying the transactions and they are recorded in a public ledger.

4. Snapchat Backlash: When App Ratings Bear the Brunt of Public Anger

Let’s face it – the public loves to express its anger against a brand on Google Play Store, by uninstalling apps and downrating them. And at times, they can be so blinded by their fury that other apps with similar sounding names take a beating.

The Snapdeal – and Snapchat – controversy is only the latest such incident. After news recently surfaced of Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel allegedly calling India a “poor country”, many Indians, high on patriotic fervour, took to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store to downgrade Snapchat’s ratings.
