Looks like the upcoming OnePlus phone will have a notch, and it makes sense to have it in the scheme of things. This is what Carl Pei, co-founder, OnePlus has spoken about in a recent interview, confirming that the iPhone X design imprint is fast-inspiring other brands.
Defending the use of notch, Carl says the decision is all about offering more screen real estate to users. The use of the notch has been a hot topic recently, but most tech enthusiasts are not sure of its relevance.
However, Carl seems to agree with the direction taken by Apple, hence, the next OnePlus is guaranteed to have the notch on the front.

As expected, Reliance Jio has shared an update for its Jio Prime members, whose subscription was coming to an end on 31 March. The telco will allow its existing Prime members to extend their membership for one more year, without paying anything for it.
That’s not all, non-Prime members can apply for its membership for an annual fee of Rs 99, unchanged from last year. Jio Prime has worked wonders for Reliance Jio, who claim they have over 175 million paid users on the network now.

Airtel has rolled out 4G VoLTE service in a few parts of India, taking its fight with Reliance Jio to the next level. Unlike Jio, Airtel’s service will continue to function if there’s only 2G/3G network available in the area.
The telco, along with Vodafone and Idea Cellular, is having a hard time luring users to its network, forcing them into lowering their data prices. They’ve also announced a slew of schemes for users who are migrating to the network, and the VoLTE programme has got a similar offer for those using it for the first time.

Huawei announced its latest flagship phone for the global market on Tuesday, 27 March. The smartphone is likely to debut in India as well. The Huawei P20, is also their first Leica-powered phone that comes with three cameras at the back. It is also one of the first in the world to offer an out-of-box 512GB storage.
The Huawei P20 has been priced starting from 649 Euros (Rs 68,430 approx) and going up to a staggering 2,095 Euros (Rs 1.6 lakh approx) for the top variant. No availability details have been shared yet but we’re expecting the launch in May.
The biggest highlight about the Huawei P20 is the use of a 6.-inch form size with an OLED screen with the notch. Yep, the P20 isn’t the first, and won’t be the last phone with the iPhone X-like notch to hit the market this year.
