Samsung Galaxy Fold Launched in India for a Whopping Rs 1.65 Lakh

There was a lot of speculation on whether Samsung would launch its most expensive smartphone ever, the Samsung Galaxy Fold, in India. All that speculation has been put to rest with the company launching the Galaxy Fold in the country.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has been launched in India at a whopping Rs 1,64,999 and will be available from 20 October. Pre-orders for the same will start on 4 October.

The Galaxy Fold was earlier launched in other foreign markets and is the first foldable smartphone to be launched commercially.

It comes with a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display, which sports a 1536 x 2152 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the folded avatar of the phone gives you a 4.6-inch display to use.

With the phone, users will be able to run three different apps at the same time and multitask on the same display.

In terms of hardware, it packs a 7nm Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and offering 512GB storage. Speaking of cameras, you get six in total; three at the back, two on the inside and another one sitting on the front flap.

For audio, it comes with stereo speakers bundled with surround sound and Dolby Atmos technology.

In terms of battery backup, the phones come with a 4038mAh battery that supports fast charging.
