Samsung will soon launch its Galaxy A8s with an Infinity-O display, being the first manufacturer to come with a punch hole display, beating Huawei, who is also said to launch its Nova 4 with a similar screen setup.

The hunt for all screen and no bezels has led manufacturers to experiment with their screens, starting with the notch.

This, after the Vivo Nex and the Oppo FindX, will be the next ‘different’ attempt to move ahead of the notch.

Samsung confirmed the launch for the A8s for 10 December in China on its Weibo page. This comes only two days after Huawei announced the Nova 4 launch on 17 December.

A BGR report says that the A8s will have a 6.3-inch 'notch-less' display with a 1080x2340 pixels resolution.

The phone is said to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The rumours have also suggested that the upcoming Samsung A8s will feature a triple camera setup on the back, like the recently launched Galaxy A7, comprising of a 24-megapixel primary sensor with a 10-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor. The front camera, as the reports suggest, will be a 24-megapixel shooter.
