Everyone likes taking a selfie and when you have a 13 megapixel front camera on your smartphone its like having an Arc reactor. Meet the Micromax Canvas Selfie smartphone which pretty much does what it says - enhance your selfies. The 13 megapixel selfie camera on this one comes with a Sony IMX135 sensor and a soft flash.
Inbuilt features include eye enlargement, face slimming, skin smoothing, skin whitening, teeth whitening and dark circle removal. Its basically more of a make up kit than a smartphone. I kind of look like an alien with all these effects. Anyways the camera quality is good and the images are sharp and crisp. It definitely enhances your selfie experience, lives up to its name a smartphone only meant for selfie lovers.
Now if you are interested in what else the phone has to offer scroll down, take a look at the specs they are not that bad. Its an average smartphone.

For the specs it has to offer, Micromax Canavas selfie is a decent smartphone. Cavas Selfie can easily handle multitasking, good for an average user. The USP of course is the camera both rear and front which are also capable of taking 1080p full HD Videos. Video quality is just fine, nothing extraordinary. The phone does not heat up at all while playing games. The design line is also premium and does not feel cheap at all.
Canvas Selfie comes with an older operating system and not the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. battery life is also not that good. With all those images and videos the phone does not even last a day. A 2300 mAh battery was just not sufficient for this one.
Only if you are a person that loves taking selfies. There is no reason to buy it if you want a performance smartphone. This is more of a camera than a smartphone than a complete smartphone. For a price tag of Rs 19,999 (You can get it in the market for about Rs 17,300) its a bit expensive too. But for selfie addicts, this was the smartphone that you were waiting for.
