Reliance Jio is back in the news again, and from Tuesday onwards, you will be able to get its 4G data packs offering 1GB per day for just Rs 149.
In addition to this, the telecom operator has also reduced the prices of its existing 4G data plans that offer as much as 2GB data per day for select validity period.
This comes as a rebuttal to how Airtel, Vodafone and even Idea Cellular have been trying to bridge the gap between themselves and Jio, by making their respective plans more affordable. The revised plans from Jio come into effect from 9 January onwards.
Jio has listed out the new plans, which cost as much as Rs 498, offering up to 1.5GB of data everyday to its users. You also get validity upto 91 days, while the cheapest and the shortest data plan gets you 1GB daily data for 28 days at Rs 149.
This way, Jio has stolen the limelight from its rivals yet again, giving consumers 4G data at pocket-friendly price points.
The new data plans ensure that Jio continues to offer more data at less cost than the incumbents, something which was promised by the company at its annual event last year.
They’ve also been running attractive cashback offers, asking users to recharge their plans in advance and giving them enough data as buffer.
The introduction of plans offering 1.5GB everyday helps the telco feed those users who needed more than 1GB but less than 2GB data on a daily basis.
