Twitter might have been the first to push live broadcasting, but Facebook Live has definitely gone ahead in the race for popularity. Which is why we’re hardly surprised that Twitter is letting users directly access Periscope through their Twitter profile.

So, while Facebook waits to roll out its Live feature Android users (why not?), Twitter cashes in on both Android & iOS users with the built-in Periscope feature on its app.

However, before you start Periscope-ing, we would like to bring to your attention Twitter’s sheer stupidity. The only way a user can access Periscope through their Twitter profile is to download the Periscope app too!

It’s hard to understand the logic behind something like this, but we must say that downloading one extra app is way better than having to download two extra apps (read Facebook).
