OnePlus will launch the seventh generation smartphone on 14 May across multiple countries, including India. The company has confirmed the launch date and more details via this tweet on Tuesday 23 April, as expected.
OnePlus 7 this year will have two variants and we can probably confirm this after coming across two different design options of these upcoming devices.
The photos of the supposed OnePlus 7 have been revealed by serial tipster OnLeaks this week, and much to our surprise, the OnePlus 7 isn’t going to be lot a different from the OnePlus 6T.
The leaked photo of the OnePlus 7 sports a water drop notch, similar to that on the OnePlus 6T and sadly, the phone will still come with dual rear cameras, but possibly with the addition of an ultra-wide lens.
The company might stick to the tried-and-tested 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel shooters, but with improved aperture for better low-light performance.
In terms of the specifications, OnePlus 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB as the highest in terms of storage.
Looking at the OnePlus 7, people might start shifting their focus and interest towards the OnePlus 7 Pro variant. This model, costing over Rs 45,000 is expected to get three cameras at the back.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the launch and hopefully OnePlus doesn’t put a steep price tag on the OnePlus 7 which a lot of people are now concerned about.
