A Nokia with Android! Finally! But does that really make Nokia phones as great as before? The recently launched Nokia 6 is considered as stiff competition to most sub Rs 15000 devices.

So let’s have a clearer picture with a quick comparison between the Nokia 6 and the Moto G5 Plus.

Here, Size Does Matter

Both phones sport metal designs and are sturdy and comfortable to hold in the hand. Though both phones sport the same display specifications, the Nokia 6 comes with a bigger 5.5-inch display which gives it a slight advantage. The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display which pumps out 424 pixels per inch (ppi) while the Nokia 6 full HD display has 403 ppi. Both displays are protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

What is the Deal With Snapdragon 430?

Why Nokia, oh why? Sure, Snapdragons are good chipsets, but a Snapdragon 430 on a Rs 15,000 phone is really a bummer. The Nokia 6 comes with 3GB RAM and runs the latest Android Nougat 7.1 and also comes with 32GB internal storage that is expandable. The Moto G5 Plus comes with a much more powerful Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

More Megapixels, More Gusto

The new Nokia 6 comes with 16-megapixels rear camera plus 8-megapixels front camera. It comes with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone flash. The secondary front snapper also comes with a f/2.0 aperture and records full HD videos. The Moto G5 Plus has a 13-megapixel camera at the back which comes with an f/1.7 aperture lens. It has a 5-megapixel front camera. Clearly on paper, the Nokia 6 walks away with the title in this round.

Battery ‘Barabar hai’

Both the phones come with 3,000 mAh battery which is non-removable. Since the Moto G5 Plus has been in the market for long we know the battery is a decent performer. The Nokia 6 battery hasn’t been tested yet. So honestly, no comments.

Worth a Buy?

The Nokia 6 has been launched at a price tag of Rs 14,999 which sounds good considering you are getting the combination of Android and Nokia in one package with decent specs. The Moto G5 Plus also comes in at Rs 14,999 and sports almost similar specs.

Now, the question to ask is ‘bhaiya ab kaunsa phone lein?’. Both are good bargains and both will give you bang for your buck. But for Nokia lovers, the Nokia 6 is a dream come true so no point convincing them to swing the other way.

This story is being updated as the Nokia 6 is going on sale today as on 23 August 2017.
