Motorola India is all set to launch the Moto 360 2nd Generation in India on December 1, 2015. The Moto 360 2nd Gen will sport a 35mm LCD Backlit display with 263ppi pixel resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
This 2nd Gen Android watch will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU (APQ 8026) and Adreno 305 with 450 MHz GPU. The smartwatch will have 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage.
Moto 360 2nd Gen will also come loaded with a 300 mAh battery that promises up to 1.5 days of mixed use.
The watch can be used as a standalone device or compatible with Android smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher and also compatible with iOS devices running iOS 8.2 or higher.
The watch connects with devices on Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and also has Wi-Fi capabilities.
The watch comes loaded with sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, vibration/haptics engine and optical heart rate monitor (PPG)
The Moto 360 will not be waterproof but IP67 dust and water resistant. The Moto 360 2nd Gen will be available in black with a black Leather band but there could be a steel variant as well. There’s no word on the pricing yet but we expect the Moto 360 2nd Gen to be priced around Rs 19,999.
