After receiving several complains from users reporting a bug that automatically answers calls on the video-chatting platform Skype, Microsoft has said that it working on identifying and fixing the problem.
As per a report on Android police, Skype users using android devices since January have registered complains with the company that despite turning-off the automatic call answering setting, a bug has been answering calls without the users’ knowledge.
Discussing the concerns on a Microsoft forum, some users suggested to clear the cache from their phones, however, several still complained of the lingering problem.
Another user suggested that the problem could be due to smartwatches that is synced with the android phone.
"One thing I noticed was that if i power off my smartwatch - or disabled Bluetooth it stopped picked up automatically. So the problem must be somehow with the connection to my smartwatch? (asus zenwatch 3)."
But this also didn’t work, as many users pointed out of not owning a smartwatch.
Although Microsoft is still in the process of identifying the problem, as reported by Android Police, users on the forum suggested that Skype preview app fixes the automatic-call answering problem for them.
