Reliance Jio: Jio Prime Announced at Rs 99 With Free Jio Services

Reliance Jio is likely to announce its new set of 4G internet plans for users post 31 March.

Reliance Jio introduces new Jio Prime scheme priced at Rs 99 for a year. The Prime users subscribing before 31 March 2017, can avail the following services:

Reliance Jio Announcements:

  • Reliance Jio has crossed 100 million on the 4G VoLTE network in 170 days
  • Jio has clocked 200 crore minutes of voice/data over this period and over 100 crore GB a month
  • Jio will end its free internet offers on 31 March, but will offer 20% more data than its competitors
  • Jio Prime membership scheme unveiled
  • Free unlimited data for another 12 months, by paying Rs 303 per month, making it Rs 10 per day.
  • Free access to Jio services like Jio Music, Jio Cinema and more up to 31 March 2018
  • Users can enrol for Jio Prime from 1 March to 31 March

With 31 March, Jio will end its free internet offers but Ambani promises that Jio will offer 20% more data than its competitors. Reliance Jio is also the largest mobile video network globally, claims Mukesh Ambani.

Before Reliance Jio, India ranked 150 in terms of mobile penetration, but now India is globally the number 1 country for mobile data usage. Jio consumers use data, almost at par with the amount consumed by whole of the United States, and almost all of China.

Jio has added 7 customers every second in a day on an average , says Ambani. Jio has clocked 200 crore minutes of voice/data over this period and over 100 crore GB a month.
