Lenovo is trying to squeeze into the budget smartphone space in India, so today they came out with their mass consumer flagship smartphone, Lenovo A7000 at a price tag of Rs8,999. This smartphone finds itself in the league of the Xiaomi Note 4G and the Yu Yureka.
The phone, sports a 5.5-inch screen, which makes it a smartphone that is big (think Samsung Galaxy Note 4). Lenovo A7000 will also be the world’s first Android smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos technology for a rich audio experience. This technology has been used in Hollywood films such as Transformers, Kingsman etc.
It has an 8 megapixel rear camera, with autofocus capabilities and an LED flash. Selfie lovers, you get a 5 megapixel front camera. It packs in a MediaTek MT6752M, 1.5GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. That is basically a 64 bit processor (similar to what you find in an iPhone6) in a smartphone that is priced under Rs 10,000.
The Lenovo A7000 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI. For connectivity you get dual-SIM, 4G LTE and an internal storage space of 8GB. The A7000 weighs 140 grams and is 7.9mm thin. It will be available in Onyx Black right now and Pearl white will come to the Indian market soon.
