India’s limited-overs cricket captain MS Dhoni has been signed up as brand ambassador by handset manufacturer Lava International in a move to strengthen its brand in India, the company has announced.
The contract value was not disclosed by Lava, which has set up its first manufacturing plant in Noida. The company plans to invest Rs 2,615 crore to raise annual production capacity to 216 million phone sets.
Dhoni tweeted out the big announcement by clicking selfie along with the members of Lava Mobiles.
Before Lava Mobile, Dhoni was the face of Maxx Mobile in the country.
