The new PlayerUnknown’s Battleground 0.7.0 update is out and its offering a bevy of new updates, enhancements, modes and a whole lot more. The update size is 1.63 GB on Android and about 2.2 GB on iOS. The game also has a lot of improvements in the graphics.

This new update offers a War Mode, which is basically a death match where players are released in a battle arena for a limited window of time and they have to get maximum kills. In this mode, players will keep re-spawning till time ends. The first team to reach 100 points wins.

You are awarded three points for killing an opponent, one point for killing a downed opponent and one point for saving a teammate from dying.

There is also a Clan Mode that has now been added to the home interface. Players can create and customise different looking clan icons and then toil hard to earn exclusive rewards by completing different challenges and also climb up the ranks.

The horizons and sky have new added colours while the game’s textures and graphics have drastically improved with the addition of new animations and characters who now have different poses on the results screen based on performance. Something like what you see on the GTA V multiplayer.

The game also gets new vehicles, helmets, backpack finishes and new character faces. Till now I have only seen a monkey and a horse head in the game. More to come people!
