A new YouTube video from famous tech YouTuber Zack Nelson aka JerryRigEverything shows that the new iPad Pro can be bent and destroyed very easily.

The YouTuber is known for his durability tests on gadgets by subjecting them to some gruesome damage using his tools.

In the video, Nelson’s final bend test shows how easily the new iPad gets completely destroyed, and says it lacks structural integrity, “like tin foil wrapped around mashed potatoes”.

The Verge reported that people have been reporting about a bent iPad after a few days of usage and in some cases, out of the box.

While some reported that their iPad was bent as it used to stay in the backpack, some were given a bent one out of the box, even after repeated replacements.

A lot of users pointed out to the antenna lines on the cellular version as the reason – some even attached photos justifying that the bend starts where the antenna lines start.

In a video by one of the most widely known tech YouTubers, MKBHD, he commends the iPad’s flat design (2:19). However, right after that, he questions the ‘asymmetrical’ antenna lines that take away from the otherwise well-designed iPad.

Either it is mild misuse or the antenna lines, the way Apple markets its products' build quality and design – both reasons give Apple questions to answer.

Apart from the bending issue, the JerryRigEverything video does give us the idea that Apple's quality is quite decent. It’s just that the the claimed ‘sapphire’ camera glass is a cheap sell.
