HTC Renews Sponsorship with NorthEast United FC and John Abraham 

Taiwanese smartphone company HTC makes John Abraham their brand evangelist.

Taiwanese tech company HTC announced their continuing partnership with John Abraham and his soccer team NorthEast United.

In a gala hosted by Cher Wang, Chairwoman and CEO of HTC, the company continues to be the lead sponsor for NorthEast United FC for the second season of Indian Soccer League.

Apart from being the title sponsor, HTC also announced that John Abraham will be the face of HTC for the next two years. The actor, producer and owner of NorthEast United will work as a brand evangelist for the company.

HTC also made statements on its upcoming manufacturing facility in India. The company is getting serious about the Indian market and is going to focus on manufacturing as well as marketing its brand in the country.

The Indian Super League season will kick off on October 3, 2015.
