We all know that the new MacBook Pro range in India will cost you upwards of Rs 1,29,900, going up to Rs 2,05,900 for the Touch Bar variant of the 15-inch MacBook Pro.
But that’s not where the spending ends. If you saw the event on Thursday evening, you will know that Apple has removed a slew of ports from the new MacBook Pro series, which is going to end up pinching you by more than Rs 13,000.
Now, you only get 3 x Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, and one 3.5-mm audio jack. So, in order to use the new MacBook Pro, like every other MacBook Pro, you’ll need the following thing, and as all Apple products, they don’t come cheap.
We’ll never know why Apple has ditched so many ports in one go, but that clearly gives them the means to squeeze more money out of every consumer.
It’s really funny to see that Apple’s asking the new MacBook Pro buyers to get another lightning cable for the iPhones.
There you go, then. Time to pick up that shopping cart, head over to the Apple re-seller in the country, and be mentally prepared to go broke.
