With Google I/O 2017 just around the corner, the search-engine giant has announced that developers will soon get access to Android "O" Beta. This marks the end of Android "Nougat" Beta program that was announced at the Google I/O 2016.
Until now, Google has been offering Beta versions of Android Nougat (versions 7) along with "Developer Preview" versions of Android O which will make its debut at Google I/O 2017 later this month.
Android is currently available in its 7th iteration called Nougat, and in 2017, most of us expect Android to be named as Oreo, taking its name from the popular sandwich cookie.
The full set of features, its official name, and usability of Android O will be revealed at the Google’s annual developer event in San Francisco.
