After the Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal, Facebook and its CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be looking to make a fresh start this week with the F8 Developer event.
The two-day developer conference will start off with Zuckerberg presiding over the keynote address on Tuesday, 1 May, in the United States. The keynote will be live-streamed across the globe via the social networking platform.
The event will comprise of a slew of Facebook products and new announcements from Oculus on virtual reality among others things. The keynote starts at 10:30 pm IST and is likely to be a 90-minute-long session.

Unlike last year’s event, this franchise of the Facebook F8 is expected to offer detailed insights into how Zuckerberg and Co will make users’ life on Facebook safer and intrude less into their data.
On day two of the event, the company will most likely have interactions with the developers, show them the future path for Facebook and their partnership with businesses and platforms. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on how Facebook intends to earn back the trust of people across the globe.
