Real life Iron Man and Tesla founder Elon Musk made Indians quite happy on Thursday morning by calling our very own Indian Space Research Organisation awesome in a tweet.
Musk, or as he likes to call himself, ‘Irony Man’, said he thinks ISRO’s achievement of launching 104 satellites in one day is “awesome” in reply to a tweet that asked him for a comment.
Musk replied to another tweet and said that ISRO is making India proud.
India on Wednesday scripted history by successfully launching a record 104 satellites, including India's earth observation satellite, on a single rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
This is the highest number of satellites to be launched in a single mission. Previously, the Russian Space Agency had launched 37 satellites in one go.
Musk had recently been in the news for also saying that the new Tesla Model 3 can be expected to arrive in India this summer. Last year in April, the company had stated that it planned to enter India with its Model 3 in 2017 while it began the global roll-out of the electric car in late 2016.
Without revealing more details about the Tesla launch, Musk has raised excitement levels in the country, especially among those who had pre-ordered the Model 3 last year.
