Every gaming platform has its set of bad apples and PUBG Mobile is no exception. The multiplayer gaming platform has been playing host to millions of players all over the world, however some of those players resort to cheating and using hack tools to gain an advantage over other players.
In an attempt to curb this problem and set fear among potential cheaters, the gaming platform has announced that anyone caught cheating will be banned for 10 years.
The “hacker” menace has been rampant on PUBG and it seems the company is finally taking stringent steps to end this once and for all.
Anybody can hack PUBG using certain hack tools that allow players to alter the game’s .apk files which gives them special abilities and advantages over other players. Similar problems have also been spotted in the PC version of the game.
In September alone, PUBG banned almost 3,500 players from the platform as they were found using hack tools and other hacking apps to affect gameplay.
PUBG has an in-game report section where players can highlight such activities and hackers. Since there are millions of players it is difficult to track each one.
