Call of Duty Modern Warfare is coming to PS4 and Xbox One and PC on 25 October the game’s developers have announced.
Infinity Ward (the game’s developer) also released the announcement trailer which shows some of the in-game footage and also the return of Captain Price, an iconic character in the Modern Warfare series, to the franchise.
Just to be clear, this is not a remastered version of any of the previous games. Rather it is a free frontier into more action-packed missions with Captain Price.
There are chances that the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare will support cross-play, although the company hasn't released any official statement on this.
Modern Warfare features a single-player campaign with additional modes likes co-ops and multiplayer. The earlier edition of the game, Black Ops 4 didn't have a single-player campaign at all. Instead it supports multiple online multiplayer mode and even a battle royale option.
Meanwhile, Modern Warfare is a single-player campaign driven shooter game with the introduction of classic characters like Captain John Price and it may even include the likes of Soap and Ghost, other characters who are subordinates of Price.
Players will fight alongside a diverse cast of the international special forces and freedom fighters in a number of operations set throughout many European cities and even the Middle East.
