The wait is over. The latest in the Zenfone series by Asus has arrived – Zenfone 2 by Asus was launched in India on April 23, 2015. Cause for celebration? The top variant of the Zenfone 2 will offer a whopping 4GB RAM!

The smartphone has been designed in an all-metal look with a hint of plastic; it also has metallic volume rockers that are located at the back of the phone, below the camera. Available in three colours – silver, gold and red, an ASUS and Intel branding stand out prominently along the back panel.
The Zenfone 2 is a dual SIM smartphone. While one SIM will support 4G LTE, the other will only support 2G network. The battery is sealed and non-removable.
The Display on the Zenfone 2 is quite big. At 5.5 inches (diagonal), it offers wide viewing angles and brightness levels. The touch response is also very smooth.
The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus’ new Zen UI skin. The top-end variant of the Zenfone is powered by a 2.3 GHz Intel Atom quad core Z3580 processor backed by 4 GB RAM.
A Zenfone 2 will offer a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP wide-view selfie camera.
The phone offers three storage options – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The Zenfone 2 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and also supports fast charging.
Asua Zenfone range starts from 12,999. The flagship model (ZE551ML) that features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display and is powered by 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4GB RAM,will be priced at Rs 22,999 for 64GB storage and Rs 19,999 for 32GB storage.
