Asus launched the Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd generation, a 3G- enabled smartphone with a 4.5-inch display in India. Suited for the budget segment, the phone will be available on e-commerce platforms for prices starting at Rs. 5,299.
The Zenfone Go 2nd generation is available in two different camera specifications: 0.3 MP + 5 MP (front + rear) priced at Rs 5,299 and 2 MP + 8 MP (front + rear) priced at Rs 5,699
The device will be available in 6 colours to suit different user personalities – Glamour Red, Ceramic White, Yellow, Silver Blue, Gold and Silver.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz that is backed by 1GB RAM. There is also a 2,070 mAh removable battery and the phone weighs 125 grams.
It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1, comes with 8 GB built-in storage and offers Micro SD card support up to 64 GB in addition to a 100 GB lifetime ASUS web storage.
It’s worth noting that most budget smartphones these days are offering 4G LTE connectivity and at this price point Asus is just offering a 3G device in India.
