Apple WWDC 2019 Keynote by CEO Tim Cook Confirmed for 3 June

The annual developer event from Apple is likely to reveal the new features of iOS & whether Watch gets an app store.

It’s confirmed now, Apple will be hosting its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2019 keynote on 3 June, which is less than 2 weeks away now. The company has reached out to media across the globe with details about the annual event.

And as the regular schedule goes, one can expect Apple to reveal the next iOS version for iPhone/iPad as well as the new MacOS for laptops and Mac Pros.

But you’ve also got the Apple Watch. This year people want to know more about its online gaming platform Arcade as well. Which is why we’ve decided to put down everything one expects to see at the developer conference in less than a month’s time.

WWDC 2019 is likely to show us the direction in which Apple plans to focus on its developers for the next 12 months, but also for the next decade or so.

Google’s own developer event I/O this year showed us that the search-giant is miles ahead of its competition, when it comes to use of AI and machine learning (ML) for public use cases.

Apple and its own AI-centric services, including Siri have improved over the years, but its usage is limited to iOS devices for now, but this strategy has to change for Apple to start bumping up its services revenue.

But most importantly, Apple is betting big on its growing wearable segment, and plans to roll out a separate App store for the Watch itself.

In terms of hardware, many expect Apple to reveal upgraded MacBooks, but we’re not sure if the company will unveil new hardware, unless it is ready with the next-generation HomePod smart speaker.
