American tech giant Apple launched three new products at its event in New York - the 2018 editions of the iPad Pro, the new Mac Mini and the MacBook Air.

The event took place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York, playing host to journalists from all over the world.

The new iPad Pro was clearly the star of the show. It comes in 11 inch and 12.9 inch sizes, and prices start at $799 and $999 for them respectively. Apple also showcased new features with the Apple Pencil.

Apple CEO Tim Cook took centre stage and unveiled each of the products, while the team gave everyone a deep dive on their features. Follow the live blog below for the updates as they happened.

Aluminium Bezel is gone! This is exactly what I expected! The pixels have been quadrupled and now it had four times the resolution. It offers 4 million pixels, 48 percent more colour.

Bezel-less (almost), offers 50 percent narrower bezels and comes with a 13.3-inch screen.

Touch ID is coming to the MacBook Air!

Touch sensor within the all -new keyboard. It also offers T2 security which is now highly secure. The build is premium with multiple layers within the sapphire touch panel.

The new MacBook comes with a better and bigger track-pad. Inside it’s powered by a 8th Gen dual core CPU coupled with 16GB RAM DDR4 and offers storage up to 1.5TB SSD.

Also, it’s lighter at 1.2 kilos! It’s 17 percent slimmer than the previous variant! Definitely slimmer and lighter! Less load to carry.

Woah! Fun Fact! Every MacBook Air is made from 100 percent recycled aluminium! Oh cr**. There’s isn’t a 3.5mm headphone jack on the MacBook Air! Not cool Apple! There’s isn’t even a memory card reader here! What is going on here? Only two thunderbolt ports.

So it’s orange, silver and space grey colours for the new MacBook Air!

The price is out! The new MacBook Air is priced at $1,199. It will be available from 7 November and pre-orders are starting today.

The New Mac Mini! Mini is Back

So the Mini is back! It’s been a long time we saw a medium size display on a Mac.

The new Mac Mini comes with a 6-core processor that’s 5 times faster than before.

The New Mac Mini goes up to 64GB of RAM, offers Space grey finish. It comes with the new 8th Generation Processors - Quad core processor, 6- core processor.

It offers storage up to 2TB (SSD). Comes with all flash storage which is 4 times faster.

“We have sold over 400 million iPads”, says Tim.

“We have sold more iPads in the last year than the combined sales of all the notebook sales in the world!” he adds. I am not surprised. Everyone has an iPad these days.

The new iPad Pro comes with a 11-inch Liquid Retina Display. There is a 12.9-inch variant, which is more compact, 5.9 mm thin. That is 15 percent thinner.

The new iPad is running of the A12x Bionic processor. It offers an 8-core CPU and is a multi-tasking beast.

The iPad is a powerful hardware. Offers split screen with 92 percent faster processing than a portable PC. John Ternus, VP of hardware engineering says that the new iPad offers graphics equal to the Xbox X! Can you believe it?

They are editing a photo which is 3GB is size and they are zoom in and out at lighting speed! This is really impressive! This picture has more than 100 layers.
