Apple will fix all the issues of iOS 11 with its latest iOS 11.3 update that is likely to roll out in the coming weeks to all iPhone users. The preview version is out now, and any iPhone user can try out the unreleased iOS 11 iteration right away.

This update will also bring a host of new features to users, and improve on the existing ones, like ARKit, which essentially turns the iPhone into an augmented reality (AR) supported device. On a lighter note, iPhone X users can expect to see some new Animojis to play around with.

The update will be available to everyone who’s got an iPhone 6 or later model, going up to the iPhone X. We list down the expected features of the iOS 11.3 update.

Battery Health Checker

Apple will offer a battery health management feature, and also inform its users as to when they should get the battery replaced with this update.

After reports emerged that older iPhone models are being slowed down by Apple, the company responded, and those claims turned into a nightmare for all iPhone users across the globe.

ARKit can now recognise and place virtual objects on vertical surfaces. Using advanced computer vision techniques to find and recognise the position of 2D images ARKit can integrate these real world images into AR experiences.
Apple statement

Apple had shared its excitement about AR and how it could change the trend of imagery in the future, and all these improvements show that the Cupertino-based giant is pushing its feature set, one step at a time.

AirPlay 2 Incoming & More

This feature might not sound like a lot, but if you’re keen to pick the Apple HomePod then AirPlay 2 could make a difference to the speaker's overall performance.

With AirPlay 2, Apple will allow its upcoming HomePod to function as a single unit by pairing with multiple HomePods. This feature is already available with other smart speakers like Sonos and Bose.

Apple will also come out with its own form of Messaging app for businesses, called the iMessage for Business that goes up against other available platforms like WhatsApp Business which was announced for Android users earlier this week.

iPhone X users will get four more Animojis to play around with once the iOS 11.3 update reaches your device.

All said and done, Apple needs to make sure that iOS 11.3 is bug-free and makes its way to the users very soon in good shape.
