No, seriously. Apple has jotted down a few do’s and don’t with its credit card, which was made available to users in the United States this week.
This card, just like every other credit card, offers attractive cashbacks/discounts with popular services like Uber in the mix. But what’s really got everyone’s attention is Apple’s attention to detail, which seems to have gone to another level this time.
Apple wants users of the Apple Card (made of titanium) to take good care of it, making sure they clean it with the right type of cloth, and making sure they store it properly (spoiler, not to be kept inside your jeans pocket).
Here are some of the interesting bits we found on Apple’s support page for the Apple Card.
And if this wasn’t enough, Apple says, its credit credit shouldn’t come in contact with other credit cards in your wallet. Speaking of wallet, Apple is asking you to get something that is made of soft materials in which to store the card.
That’s not all, don’t keep the card along with coins and other sharp objects, or else, the sheen of the titanium card will go away. These suggestions from Apple has understandably triggered reactions from people on social media.
We understand this a premium card, Apple but these instructions make you feel as if you’ve bought a Rolls Royce Phantom.
