Apple had recently released a patch for its FaceTime app, after it was discovered that a bug in the app allowed users to spy on the other persons interface and contacts.

It seems the latest iOS 12.1.4 update has opened another can of worms for Apple users as another bug has been found in the app which has been causing some problems.

After the update was rolled out, users took to Twitter complaining about how the FaceTime app still had issues and was not working properly.

Users are claiming that FaceTime calls do not switch to group calls as they are unable to use the ‘add person’ button on the app. Apparently, the button appears to be inactive and unclickable.

Though it doesn’t seem to be a big issue this has still caused a lot of inconvenience to multiple users. Many are still under the assumption that the older bug still exists.

However, there is a solution to the problem as there were numerous reports on the MacRumors forum. People reported they would start a group call from the beginning and then could be able to use the ‘add person’ feature. However, this workaround is unconfirmed and may not work in every case.

There hasn’t been any official statement from the Cupertino tech giant although as cited on MacRumors, the company is aware of the issue and one can expect a fix to be rolled out soon.
